    I have a 02' 360 spyder. Having trouble with top. Rear lid does not go up all the way, i have to help it just a bit . Any suggestions?

    I would be interested to know if anyone has any fixes. Mine is just the same when hot. The oil level is fine, the diagnostic computer shows no fault codes and yet you often have to nudge the roof up half an inch before it works, The Fibreglass cover is OK, it is just the roof that wont rise

    My 308 lid won't hold up in this cold weather but does in the summer. Could the effect you are seeing be a result of a cold garage?

    Lube (little bit of grease) the glides for the little winglets on either side of the car. If they jamb up, the roof will stick. The driver side has two microswitches that can also get dirty. make sure they are not sticking.

    This is the easiest first step, but if it doesn't help then check the hydraulic fluid level. Beyond that, there were some updates to the roof system over time, but it gets expensive to that that done. The parts department will be able to tell you which parts are superceded to the newer ones. I had mine upgraded and it has been flawless for 2 years.
