that what i meant at 2700LB v10 or 12 is way too much power
F-Spider you make me miss NY ! I envy you Such a well balanced blend of High tech toys and then the natural beauty of NY (especially the secluded area where you appear to be in). I grew up like around Caroga Lake and then the Catskill Range. Now I live in South Florida.....I will be heading back though as far for the Spyker I worked at a dealership that was an authorized dealer- Pictures do the car no justice it may not be the looker but its so beautiful to look at with all the details
Beautiful car. I saw it at Radnor. It really is just a different approach to speed than most other things. The car exemplifies craftsmanship. The interior is work of art. In case you couldn't tell, I'm in love with them
Sorry, for the LONG delay...it was a blue C8 I saw. I have to tell you, looking at these pictures, DAMN that is a beautiful car. Perhaps, not everyone's cup of tea, but the workmanship on the interior especially is just unbelievable.
I like everything about the car except for the windows. Any idea why there is a window on window design, instead of the usual style? I will keep my eyes opened to see the blue C8 around town though! Erik
The door is so low, that it is impossible to lower the full glass portion in it. Spyker made only a small portion go down a-la Countach, so you can pay at the toll booth. In the new model, the Aileron, the full window will go down, but it cannot go completely in. A little more than an Inch will still be sticking out. I hat that, because it means that you cannot rest your arm on top of the door.
Oh makes sense to the window design. I also hate a window that sticks up, my fathers 355 has the same problem the window sticks up like an inch in the spot where you want to rest your arm. Any thoughts about removing the glass all together? Erik
I have the original design propeller steering wheel and the four point seat belts. It looks much better than the Lotus, or now the Gallardo steering wheel.
Agree completely. It looks great. I asked because i was under the impression the propeller steering wheel wasn't legal here beacyse it didn't satisfy safety requirements
There are all sorts of "Small Manufacturer" exemptions. You get a three year reprieve from having to put an airbag in the steering wheel. They ran out of that exemption, hence the Gallardo wheel. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My Ferrari was first purchased by John "Hans" Hugenholtz (Spyker Cars, and Dutch Race Driver). His father designed the F1 Grand Prix circuits. http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/your_garage/cars/7335.shtml#imganchor http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2007/9/6817.html I showed him recent pictures, and he said my Ferrari looks almost better than when he first purchased it in 1982.
