Guys have any of you had a slight squeaking coming from the rear of your 575 when going over rough road? I also notice it when coming out of the car after parking it. When it was last at the dealer I mentioned it to them re a squeak from the passenger side and they said it was the rubber exhaust donuts that needed lubricated which they obviously done on the passenger side as no noise there but still from the drivers side. Have any of you guys had this problem and do you know what to lubricate and with what type of lubricant?

Thx Taz, have you had this problem? Should I actually spray the rubber donut?

Mark- No, I have not, but over 2000 hours in fighters means I may have it and not know it. Concentrate the spray where the doughnut and hangers meet. On the rear anti-roll bar bushing, just spray the crud out of them because there is no telling where it could be squeaking. Might as well hit both sides, too. If one squeaks, the other may not be far behind. Just wipe up the excess or it will collect dirt.

I have the same thing on my car....it has do with the shock mount.
we lubed everything and over the winter my tech took it apart.

    Thx, Drabe.
They lubed all the exhaust donuts but its still squeaking.

What exactly was it and how did they fix it so I can tell the tech in detail to get it fixed please?

I was going to suggest this as well. Happened to me on a car I used to own. There was a rubber isolator at the top of the rear shock tower that isolates the shock from the vehicle body. Over time, that had dried up (and ceased isolating noise). When backing out of my driveway onto the street, or going over big bumps, I'd hear a squeaking from the rear due to the shock shifting against the body frame. I ended up pulling the shock, replacing the isolator, and reinstalling the shock to fix it. PITA, but a pretty simple fix.

I occasionally get a slight "tinny" rattle from the back (sounds on my offside rear ...RHD) when I go over bumps in my 575 SA (HGTC). I thought it was something near the brake cable and had the local agent look at it. They said they had fixed it but no!
I am now thinking it might be something in the exhaust by-pass valve mechanics that rattle over a bump. Not loud but distinct and tinny in sound. I do not beleive it to be anything major or threatening or starting to come loose. Hard to replicate except when moving (say 50-70Km/Hr) and hitting slight bumps in road.
Any ideas or experience of this.

    Thanks
    PAUL
