My fairly new to me '95 GTS with 29k miles on it has some annoying squeaks and rattles. With the roof on I have a rattle from the top (rear). I have found that once it is on for days on end the noise settles down a bit. I have treated the seals but this is more of a rattle than a squeak. When the roof is off I hear squeaks emanating from the dash area and from behind me when passing over any slightly significant bumps.

Has anyone had success in reducing these rattles? The car is in all other respects in great shape so these noises do degrade the otherwise great experience.

Steve, get a Capristo3, headers and hi-flow cats - then wire the bypass open and never drive with the roof on - your problem will be over.

My GTS is super noisy as well. From all I have read it just comes with the car. Spyder owners even have less creeks and squeaks to deal with.

Oh, and my Capristo does help drown them out :O)

Silicone lube on the seals cures the top squeaks.

I have hunted others down. The most obvious is the seats against the back of the cabin, easily fixed with the roof not in the car, but tough when it's stowed behind the seat. Mine is often leaning against the garage wall for this reason, then it's easy to set things with a gap.

My windows rattle if they are all the way down, bump them up 1/2 inch and it stops. There is a common rattle in the front of the doors too where the fiberglass panel comes loose. You have to pull the door panels but it is another easy fix. There is a thread somewhere about it...

Other than these my car is pretty damn quiet, and I am very very picky about this stuff.
