I have a new 09 LP560 (only about 200 miles on it so far) and the breaks squeal something fierce. Does anyone have experience with this and Lambos? Am wondering if this is just part of a normal break in period or not. Thanks for any comments.

    Dear Lamborghinisti,

I could suggest a few things but a new car with 200 miles is very much under warranty. Let the dealer look at it. If you pull the pads, that may hinder your coverage on that specific item.

Do as much under warranty as you can.

    BTW,

With new pads only (200 miles) , perhaps they need bedding in. Do they come from the factory or dealer bedded in? Contact you service adviser and ask.

Is there a vibration along with the squeeling when you brake? If so, then there could be an issue. If it's just loud squeeling, then this is normal. What happens is the brake pads develop a "glaze" on them and once they start to warm up and be used, the squeeling should go away. Best of luck!

Thanks - that is what I am hoping. There is no vibration, just the loud screech.
