It's always something new Today my clutch started squeaking (in the pumpkin, not the pedal). While I've had this "problem" in the past with other vehicles it's sort of embarrassing for a Ferrari. Otherwise, all works well. Any ideas on how to make it stop? Attached is a sound byte of me actuating the pedal. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Anyone have a similar experience? The records indicate that it's the original clutch (32,000 miles). Just old, I guess.
Anytime I have a squeaky clutch in any of my car, it is the throw out bearing (also known as release bearing) telling me that it is time to get a new one.
For me, on other vehicles, it was usually the TO bearing fork or some part of that mechanism. I tested the file after posting and that was my thought as well. It brought back some memories of times long ago and far away.
