After driving my 355 in the rain, my clutch assembly started to squeal. It was worse when I engaged the clutch. It seems like something lost its lubrication. Is there something that I could try to lube? Or is it time for the clutch job?

    There's really nothing to lubricate.

    Strange issue. :):)

Perhaps its coincidence and your clutch is ****ed? :D:D

I guess if there is no more water in there anymore and its still making that noise then I would pull it apart and inspect. :):)

I wouldnt drive it either, dont want to do any damage to the flywheel if the clutch plates are worn down to the rivets. :):)

It could be that the bearing/s are on the way out, or have developed some rust in them due to the moisture from the rain? What bearings? It could be the throwout/thrust bearing, or the bearing in the bell housing for the flywheel.

I had a similar squealing noise, it was intermittent...I drove it that way for about 4 months and then the throw out bearing housing let go and all the clutch fluid leaked out.

I would suspect you either have a bad bearing in the pumpkin, or flywheel, or the throw out bearing housing is starting to crack like my car. I bet on the throw out bearing. When I had the clutch job done, I had all the bearings replaced.

Either way, I would have it looked at, it is not going to get any better. ;)

I agree, most likely the throw out bearing going south.

My throwout bearing failed. After tearing the clutch apart, the carrier that kept the held the balls had broken up and all the balls fell to the bottom of the race. That is why there is more noise when the clutch is depressed.FWIW
