Hi There Has anyone encountered a dash rattle/ squeek in a 355? Very annoying to say the least Cheers
Hi Victor, you are probably going to need to be a bit more specific brother, unless this was just your way of venting, then you can be as vague as you like I had the gauge binnacle squeaking on my old 355, not difficult to fix, I removed the 2 Phillips screws that hole the binnacle in place and put a slither of thin foam between the 2 metal pieces, squeak free from then on. Now I need to do the same to my current 355.....
I have any annoying squeek that seems to come from the drivers side dash somewhere when I go over bumps.. but on smooth roads I dont hear it at all. I'm having a hard time diagbnosing it, because it only happens over nice size bumps as I drive, so I can't investigate to find it. Even if someone else drives, the squeek comes from the drivers side, so I can't reach over there and fiddle around. Anyone have any tips for me?? I'm kinda stuck.
I had a rattle coming from the drivers side dash door area. I took the door panel off and found out there are a couple nuts and bolts that hold the fiberglass and other materials together in the door panel. I tightened those nuts and the rattle went away.. May be worth a try. If need be I have a pdf of the door panel removal....
Sweet. I'll give it a try tonight but I dont think its coming from the door. I did the "window track" repair about a month ago and everything seemed tight. I'll give it a shot a let u guys know how I made out....
I might have a rattle or two....but I wouldn't know it due to my car being a Spider, having the beautiful song of the Quicksilver exhaust, or the beautiful sound of the digitally amplified Focal separates. Or, all three combined!
