I thought the turn out would be small as well, but it was very good. A few of us went for a short drive up to Alices and it turned out great, not to much traffic up 9 for some reason?? Some great sounds through the mountain roads.
As always nice to see the familiar faces and meet some new ones.

It was fun going for the first time. I bugged some of the guys on ********* to show up as well, so I think there were quite a few first timers today. Great group of people you have there. :)

    Hi, DiabloRoadster.

Thanks for shooting the cars and posting them. Really nice shots. I never met you face-to-face. Next time I head out to SR, I will look out for you and introduce myself. The rear end of my 328GTS caught your lense. ;-)

    Check 6.

    Hi, FinancialMan.

Welcome back from Florida! It was really great to see you and see your 360 for the first time. Sounds really great with the Tubi -- especially, when you took off from Alice's. I will catch up with you next week for lunch.

    Check 6.

Dang, wish I could have made it... looks like it was a great turnout.

That green Lambo is just SICK! Love that color.

Went for a ride with my daughter last Sunday and on the way home noticed a strange "rubbing/grinding" sound coming from my front-left wheel. Frequency of the sound matches wheel rotation. Sounds like something is stuck in the brake rotor. It's way more pronounced when backing up than going forward. Decided I should drive it only to the shop to have it checked out.

    Be back at SR soon.

Alex, that console/ashtray shot of my old car is really cool, like looking back 40 years to another life. Nice work.

Probally just a rock stuck between your rotor heat shield and rotor, makes a horrible noise.

Hey all, I just joined the party since the 9/1 run; thanks to Harry for inviting me. Yes, the verde Muci was the **** - stands out maybe too much for the local constubal I suspect (we did see a few up there but going in the wrong directions!) That was my FIRST run at high-speeds on Hwy 35 (he, I don't usually do 60-80mph in a turn at work!) and I have to say, the guy's with 4 more cylinders than I had are hella-fast!!!! (You can barely see me on the two Hwy 35 shots - I'm the last car there - yeah, the guy with the little Cobra.)

I'm not dialed in suspension-wise. I need to go back to Mt. View and get the alignment done with my new Koni's. He told me to put 1,000 miles in on the springs before coming back so the ride along 35 was scary at times with zero deg. camber out back, but no matter what I did, it seemed to go wherever I pointed it!

I know it's going to be hard for me to put names to the cars again. Dan, thank again for the Ferrari Factory DVD. I was able to make copies so I'm planning on being at SR this Saturday for a short period; I'm heading up to Hayward afterwards for the Kit-Car show in San Leandro - a Factory Five GTM is suppose to show up so I wanted to see what this looked like in person so I won't be able to go on any planned/impromptu rides. :(

It's held every year at the San Leandro Marina next door to El Torrito's.
