It's hard to tell from that ebay ad what this really is...

My SS has the Valence carbon fiber part. My receipts from the PO show that the original was replaced by FoW -- I can only assume it must have been damaged. I originally liked the look in carbon, but now I'm thinking I might get it painted. Either way, the Valence is a quality part. It includes built in skid pads underneath, which I'm thankful for every time I exit my driveway.

Somewhere, I remember reading that the mold for the Valence part was copied from an actual SS part -- not sure if that is true or not.

Yeah, the one on ebay is different from the one we make. Our mold was taken from a Speciale spoiler. Since the carbon look is not for everyone, we make them pretty much to order. You can have fiberglass (primed), primed carbon/Kevlar, clear coated carbon - we've even painted a few to spec, but we might need to charge extra for that. Primed as opposed to clear-coated is actually a discount, because it's less work.

Unlike a lot of our parts, we actually have a few of these molded and ready for finishing, so the lead time is reasonable. We like to hold off on finishing them until they're ordered.
