No problem! It just rubs me the wrong way sometimes because Rob is a good friend of mine and gets an undeserved bad rap. He really is a good guy.

I love the CGT and yea I've talked to Rob a few times he seems very nice. Is he gonna bring the veyron after this shenanigans?

Just arrived in Scottsdale. Flew in from MN. Planning on a nice big steak at "City Hall" tomorrow night. Am looking forward to Saturday morning.

Joe, I applaud your loyalty and defense of the Veyron guy, but the reality is that the kinds of choices he makes, to run his cars at reckless speeds on public roads, impact all of us in the exotic car community. You are a track racer and you understand that the track is the appropriate arena for really high speed running. What the Veyron driver does, whether it is publicized or not by his passengers, is simply stupid.
Your friendship toward him would be better served by advising him to keep the high speed stunts off of public roads that we all use.

Hi - those who know me probably know I've been doing a major on my 348 since last April. The car is done, except for minor cleanup and a couple details. I'll be there Saturday.

One of the things I upgraded was changing the stock exhaust to a Gothspeed exhaust (Gothspeed is an Fchat member). This exhaust is something of a prototype, and I agreed with Goth to take pics for him, and try to get some good audio clips. Unfortunately, all I have for audio and video is my Sony digital camera.... which leaves a lot to be desired in terms of audio.

Is there anyone who could help me take a couple video/audio clips with a better camcorder while I'm there on Saturday? Don't want to get crazy on the street, but just a good idle clip, a good clip in the car for a run up and down, and perhaps a driveby would be great.
Would also be great if we could get a comparison with a Tubi (Jon?). Anyone think they could help? You can PM me if desired, or just see me Saturday.

PS - 348 and 355 owners (Goth is going to make both), can see the exhaust.... I'm keeping heat shields off for now. It tucks in really well by the rear bumper.... very compact! PSPS - Goth upgraded mine to a "Stage 2" without mentioning it beforehand, and this one is too loud at idle for my taste. Kind of sounds like an American V8 charachter at idle, but does scream well at higher inputs! Goth can degrade mine to Stage 1 if I want, which I will probably do.
