    Hey guys, are Daniel and Charles Schmitt dealerships really worth buying a car from? I test drove a Rolls up there, and the sales manager came out and berated the salesman for taking me on a test drive without having a deal done on a car-something that I have never had happen to me before. Does anyone have any input?

    Does he expect you to buy it without first taking it for a ride...I visited several dealerships before I bought my Ferrari and they all let me take the car for a test drive. Several of the dealership didn't even have the salesman go along with me. I would stay away from that dealership.

    Yeah, every car that I have bought, and everytime that I went along with someone to buy a car, 95% of the sale happened during the drive. I mean, if you want a benz, and you've never driven one, who knows, maybe you will drive it and then hate it, but when they want you to have a deal done first, that to me is a big no no, to stay away from the dealership.

    Both of them are a joke I wouldn't do business with either one of them.

    I'm shopping now as well and I've noticed that his prices are well above the rest of the country.

    I visited Schmitt again a couple of days ago, and after this visit, I don't think I'll ever be doing business again.

    My experience is not only are their prices about 20% above the market across the country, but Charles Schmidt is rude. They due truly expect you to buy a car without a test drive and refuse to allow an independent shop to inspect their cars.
