I need to get a front end alignment for F355 in St. Louis. I had a look at the shop manual for the alignment & its no joke. Not going to roll the F355 into DOBBS & have them freak out. Anyone have any suggestions?

Give Reid Vann a call or there is a place at 141 and Manchester.....ahhhh, can't think of his name - old age. Maybe someone can chime in here. Anyway those are two places that might spare you the dealer "cost". Good luck, let us know how it goes.

Maserati/Bentley of STL used to service my car. They always do it right the first time. Maybe a little pricey but definitely worth it.

As Jim suggested, Reid Vann is another good independent.

Jim, are you referring to Autos of Europe? I heard they service Ferrari's, too.

I made an appointmant with Reid Vann for next Thursday. Reid Vann knew about the shims needed for the alignment. It impressed me enough to give them a shot. Thanks everyone for your input. St. Louis may not be a one horse town but I may have seen 3 or 4 Ferrari's here in my lifetime. Maybe I'll be surprised to find the mid-west Ferrari community much larger.

You'll be surprised. The Ferrari community is very active in STL (although
most don't know or frequent this site). They have an event or get-together almost every month. They are very down-to-earth and nice people. Here's their website: www.fca-mo.org (Contact person- Bud Strotheide and Claudia Poertner).

Yeah jssans, we finally got rid of the only riff-raff in the group when Ron328 moved away last year! Har! You know I'm just kidding Ron! Actually we were really sorry to see him go. But he is correct in that there is a pretty active group of really, really nice folks. You need to contact Bud or Claudia. Hey ROn, get this, we are doing a F-car club drive next weekend (I think) to St. Gen. !!! Is that ironic, or what! Hey, think you can make it? We might need a guide! jssans, looking forward to meeting you.

    Jim

ps, Ron, you are correct - Autos of Europe. Thanks.

Yes, Jim. I was quite saddened when I received the flyer. Ste. Gen is your stop next weekend and I am going to miss that! I really miss all of you good people there. I am hoping to hook up with the club here on September; there will be a track event in Portland.

I'm going to miss the Pere Marquette State Park Lodge ride & lunch. The F355 is getting the inner CV boots replaced on Sunday morning. I want to go to the social event in Webster Groves in August. If there are any events sooner than that I would love to meet the everyone.
