Does anyone know anything about these guys? I've heard good things about the work they do, but I thought I'd see if anyone here has had any experiences with them.

I'm going to have the windows on my lowly (at least in this company) Mazda6 tinted- the thought of going through another St. Louis summer sans tint with a black leather interior is not appealing to me- so I'm not going to put this off any longer!

Looks like they have two locations- one on Long Road in Chesterfield and one on Watson Road across from Webster Groves Lutheran Church.

Any other suggestions would be welcome as well!

I have used Clear Auto Bra/Mark P in Webster Groves for several of my cars and he does great work.

Never heard of/used the guy you mention

I completely forgot about that place, but now that you mentioned it, it rings a bell! I just found their website as well, and while I may still go with St. Louis Window Tinting, I should probably give this place a call since this isn't the first time I've heard great things about them. Thanks for the suggestion!

They just did my Ferrari - impressive and the best job I have seen yet. Mention my name and pay an extra 10 bucks!

I went to St. Louis Window Tinting in Chesterfield yesterday to get the windows on my Mazderati tinted, and they did an excellent job! I decided to wait there while my car was being worked on, and on an interesting note, I met a local Ferrari (308GTSi) owner there, so I told him about the local forum and the Cars and Coffee events. I didn't get a chance to catch his name since he was on his way out while I was arriving there, but hopefully he'll show up and add another F-car to the local gatherings some time.

No matter how much I insisted, they wouldn't take the extra 10 bucks. :)

I tinted the windsheild and it looks great for the overall effect, but it takes a lil while to get used to. I m redoing all the tint next week and putting in some new ceramic material.

If you want my car will be there from Monday - Wednesday feel free to see if you like it.

Those guys are really good at what they do - but its a sllloowww process, but its worth doing it with the new materials - the old looked like crud.

I have ceramic tint on my cars, it's much better than the old stuff.

I've considered doing windshield tint but can't convince myself that it's a good idea at night.

Cant argue with that - it took some getting used to and it probably is not a great idea.

But if you have good night vision - go for it, especially if its an occasional use car.

Forgot one thing - some Ferrari's and Porsches have a bad set up for front window tint.

Ask like owners if they have done it and how it worked out.

I have heard some Lotus guys raving about 3M Crystalline. It can be put on clear with no tint & have it reduce temps 30 degrees. But nobody in St. Louis uses 3M for automotive glass. I must of called 8 shops yesterday. St. Louis can really frustrate the hell out of me sometimes.
