This is definitely a good one to go to. Great location, great collection of cars.. in addition to the usual stuff, there was a pair of Enzos, a CLK-GTR, Saleen S7, 911GT1, and some other stuff you don't see very often. If I remember correctly, it's free just to show up and wander around.

Heck, Scuderia South Florida had a pair of Enzo's at the Poker Fun Rally two weeks ago out running on the highways, not sitting under a tree!

    Owner's cars, not dealers.

The Enzos at Festival of Speed WERE owners cars and with the alliance of the American Le Mans series again for 2005 let's plan for track action!
    2005 events:
1.Second annual Manhattan Festival of speed-This event was unreal and we had it at one of the most prestigious locations in NYC, the World Financial Center with a reception overlooking New York Harbor. See it again this June with a collection of only 50 top of the line exotice.
    2. Manhattan Again: Come see the unveiling of the limited edition SEBRING watch from Jean Richard on West 57th street in February. We will display exotics all month long. Invitation only. [email protected]
    3. Road Atlanta in September and more on the West coast later on.

Thanks for the registrations received today, we are looking forward to a great event!

We'll try to make it over to St. Pete Joe...

We bust chops in here all the time.

We're also in discussion already about the Winter Park Concours seeing
as how Aston Martin will be the feature marquis.

    Barton,
the site should be posted this weekend , I am working with the web guy as we speak. The site will be www.festivalsofspeed.com (note :plural)

If you like, let's have you head up the Aston group/club for St Pete. Aston Martin as you know will debut the new ALMS race car (DBR9) at SEBRING so we may have it at the show. Either way, Aston will have a strong display as we are promoting the SEBRING race with ALMS at St Pete in a big way.
Also, the first BENTLEY GT CONVERTABLE (NOT FACTORY) will be making it's debut at the show along with some other very special Bentley vehicles.

Finally, I spoke with FERRAI NORTH AMERICA today and they will be involved with the show and may send us something special and new? Anyway, let me know what you think about the Aston help. I can set up a special pavilion for your guys.

Interesting development. Having a DBR9 there would be nice but the read I'm getting on it would be unlikely. Wish that news was better but Aston Martin/Prodrive are clearly keeping expectations low leading into the 2005 season. 2006, when there are more teams maybe...

I've scaled back my AMOC involvments and Scott Saidel is now the South Florida Regional Representative in my place. We've got some things in place
for Cavallino and Winter Park already but we'll see what we may do for St. Pete.

It comes down to how much is on my plate and lately that has caught up with me and I simply must eliminate some activities.
