Stabilant 22 on contacts, anything else?

Just curious on anyone whom has used Stabilant 22 on electrical connections.
What cleaning method other then contact cleaner first to clean things up, then just apply the Stabilant 22? Are we supposed to use any other protective grease anywhere or is that it? Not sure of the metal type of the terminals, does anyone give a run with a small file or emery board on the pins?
It seems straight forward, but again, input is always welcome!
