Its winter storage time. Any thoughts on putting a gas stabilizer in? My 456M will be in an enclosed climate controlled garage. I did fill the tank with non ethanol 91 octane. Thanks.

I've used fuel stabilizer for 20+ years in 4-5 different cars each season. Never had 1 problem. Just make sure you put in the correct ratio.

I think it a good idea. Adding octane booster now and come spring helps fend off misfire codes and timing being pulled from the reduced octane.

Great question as I am also ready to put my 550 in hibernation mode.

Where did you get the non-ethanol fuel? I can only find it at our local marina. I’ve always used stabil in our snowmobiles that sit for 10 months straight.

Put in non ethanol 91 gas from shell, gas stabilizer, turn the battery connection to "off" , clean the car inside / outside, leave car in first (no hand brake) and over inflate tires...done for the winter..
Has worked well for many years, battery does not drain fast at all if disconnected...
I also move the car a few inches back and forth over the months as a paranoid owner to avoid tire flat spots...:)
