Anyone experienced any failure with the factory installed stainless braided lines on the F1 pump in the Stradale?

Mine had an issue this week end and after getting the car back home on the lift it looks to be a factory defect as the lines are kinked at the pump. The slight kink caused them (multiple lines) to wear and fail.

Just curious if anyone has had my same wonderful experience.

Side note… Stranded on a Texas back road is a fun way of meeting interesting people.

Yes, happened to me at 3K miles - had all 4 lines replaced under warranty. Obviously, the design has an inherent fault, as I'm sure we aren't the only ones to experience this. BTW, couldn't believe how many women stopped to ask to help on a quiet Sunday morning, stranded w/ my CS on the side of the road!

I had an EV1 line literally split in the middle longitudinally 1/3 of an inch, which is unheard of ! Took this lone off and repaired in a shop in Houston called Hoses-R-Us (literally!) for $82, put it back, bled the system, works well...

    Houses or Hoses?

I googled and only see the first one. Have their contact info, looks like I could use there services as Ferrari seems to play dumb and claim that it must be my fault or my 7000 mile car has been abused. what a joke...

First of all, there is no way that the hydraulic line should not withstand less than 15-20K miles, or have any problems at all.... Those dealers do play dumb, indeed. The price of each line is ridiculously high + the cost of labour to replace the line + bleeding of F1 hydraulic system + clutch positioning (kissing point procidure) which they will claim needs to be done.... You are looking for a $10K bill, my friend...
Later today I will ask my son the exact name of that hydraulics repair shop in Houston, as he was the one who went there for me.
However, I am sure that in your town there is a shop where you can walk in with a hose as get it repaired.

I have experience a few F1 hose failures on the 360 Challenge cars. It seems the hose specification is not quite up for the job given the hot environment.

OEM hose is ridiculously expensive, so for sure just take your old hose and have it repaired by qualified hydraulic hose shop.

The end fittings are at an angle relative to each other. It's very important to keep these relative angles when the OEM end fittings are swaged onto new hose section. Otherwise, you will end up with torsional twist on the hose when you install it, which in turn will lead to premature hose failure. Not routing the hose properly will also cause this problem. I suspect some of the hose failures are caused by incorrect installation at factory or dealer.
