Hi All, I recently took a look at my exhaust system and I am going to build a stainless system for it. I know there are systems out there but I want to build my own. Does anyone know where I can buy stainless mufflers that look very close to the original ones? From looking at a number of sites (ansa and tubi ) I couldnt find any. I would greatly appreciate any information. Thanks
Magnaflow magnapacks resemble Dino mufflers. You might want to consider using just a single muffler with dual inlet dual outlets too. Magnaflow makes a great one which sounds fantastic. Then use Hedman pipe tips which are very very close to the originals.
Thanks Ferraripilot for the reply. I looked at the magnaflow mufflers but they look different to the original ones. I still want it to look very original on my E series. From doing more searching on the net the stainless tubi mufflers look very similar to the original ansa mufflers. As the tubi mufflers are exactly what I want. Just curious but aren't you worried about a stainless system sounding tinny? There was an extensive thread here re original vs stainless . i think Stebro was mentioned too- you may want to review these posts.
