#4 ..... This is a good Q&A where he explains the project and his choices.

Very excited to see the progression on this. Watched every 308 video he did. Love that car with the Liberty Walk kit. Looks incredible.

I love his channel. His 308 Liberty Walk build was excellent and I watched almost every episode. The only thing I didn't dig on the 308 was the K-swap engine. This F40 corrects the hell out of that.

Simpsons did this a long time ago with a 550 v12 in a bare, cast off F40 chassis, it was up for auction last year, but pulled at the last moment.

I hope he likes sitting close to the steering wheel as the first two rows of cylinders of that v12 are going to be poking in his spine otherwise!

You cannot fit a quart into a pint pot, even Ferrari had to allow the first row of v8 pistons to sit in the cabin on the F40, this will become obvious soon enough, although I suspect he already knows such, and it will all add to the You tube drama further down the line, and will need a plan b for the type of gearbox he will actually need to use. Hollinger do not make a suitable one, Ferrari however do.

Also his layout measurements were way off width wise when he was relying on those side panels he has, the cut outs on those are way bigger than factory ones.

I have no doubt the end result whichever way it evolves will be a decent toy though.
