Standard # of labor hours for a 348 30K service?

    I was just curious what the "factory standard" is for the number of hours billed for a comprehensive 30K service? I was thinking it was something like 35, but wasn't sure.

    Depends on what's done, but I would agree with your estimate, not including the oil pump drive bearing update.

    It usually takes one man a solid week to do everything Ferrari recommends for the 30K service.

    That sounds about right for the full service to do everything recommended.

    Engine remove and refit: 17 hrs
    Camshaft oilseals renewed: 2 hrs
    Adjust valves: 2.25 hrs
    New cambelt with bearings fitted: 3.25 hrs
    Major service: 7.2 hrs

    Sum: 31.5 hrs

    80 Euros + tax per hour

    crankshaft gasket: 2 hrs
    New cambelt with bearings fitted: 10.1 hrs
    Major service 20k: 6.7 hrs

    Sum: 42.4 hrs

    62 Euros + tax per hour

    I would like to have a glanced to that book of theirs!
