Stant radiator cap mod.

I went to replace my radiator cap with the Stant 11229 (13lb.) and had to modify it slightly. It fits tight for 2 reasons. So what I did was bend the 2 tabs to look similar to the OEM cap. You will see when you compare the 2 caps. Also you need to remove the upper (closest to the cap) rubber gasket. Then just put the cap on and go. This mod works for the 11230 (16lb) cap also.
