Just came back from it, as expected better than episode I, II, IV. I still think Empire and Return of the Jedi are the best ones. Anyone else see it?

    ***SPOILER***

Yeah, I saw it last weekend. I've not seen I and II, but I thought it was good. I like the special effects.

When Anakin becomes Darth, I know for realism he had to stumble a little, but it would have been more in keeping with his fearsome figure if he had just got up and walked menagingly.

yeah i accidentally saw the first release at midnight last night... walking around after a couple pints and saw the cinema was still open, they said someone bailed on their concession/student ticket and asked if i wanted to buy it, so wot the hey! :)

wasn't too bad, they showed ep 2 on teevee the other night, i tuned in for 5 minutes but it's so atrociously bad, yuk. this one at least was worthy of the Star Wars title.

    can't wait for episode 4....

I liked it, the critics will pan it becus they are envious no talent jerks who like to tear things down

The dialogue may not be Oscar quality but the computer graphics sure are Oscar quality

    I wonder if George will remake episode 4,5, & 6 now :)

As long as no costumed freaks are beating each other with toy light sabers at theatre, I'm going to go ahead & see it sometime this afternoon.

I thought it was very well done. Probably the best of all the Star Wars flicks with only Empire Strikes Back being close.

Return of the Jedi????? Give me a break! Can you say Ewok? YUCK!

This one is a pretty dark flick. I will not be taking my 6 year old. Vader roasting by the lava pit with his legs and arm cut off...

Actually tough to avoid this part..... It was actually pretty fun to watch, lol. Some some kids beat the crap out of each other.

For me, it was deinitely the best out of the 3 new ones. While it was still a bit behind the original 3, it is a lot better then most movies out there.

Yea..... my only complaint about Revenge of the Sith is that Vader did not cut off that twit Jar-Jar Binks head and feed it to some Ewok!

My hairs stood on end when you find out that Jar Jar knocks up the princess then kills Anakin, becomes Lord Vader and searches the galaxy for his twin children (Luke and Leia)

WOW!! No one would have ever guessed that Jar Jar was the Sith lord messing with the Jedi from the beginning! Everyone thought it was that old blue hair senator guy…Palpatine?? GOSH I was shocked!! Very Good show!!

I give it Two Ho’z Up!

It was good, but not great. I guess it was always going to be tough to live up to all the hype. Empire Strikes Back is still the best of the 6.

So who spotted Hans Solo's Millenium Falcon ?

It only appears for 1 second very small in the lower left of the screen

Its in the 1st scene where Anakin & Obi Wan are getting off that bus at the huge Govt building

The MF is seen docking in the building, Cool :)

Very good movie I thought. I'll try to avoid giving anything away. Thought the acting could have been a little better in some parts, and shouldn't the technology be less advanced like the planes then episodes 4,5, and 6. And I think Anakin turned a little too easily. But the way they connect everything is done really well.

I thought the Frankenstien homage at the end was a little over the top.

A friend of mine somehow got ahold of a DVD version of this new movie. It's not a "home video" or someones camcorder in a theater.......it's a real DVD showing the whole movie. The only thing is, theres a small "minute counter" in the upper right side. Anyone know where he could have gotten this? Is it illegal? He's having a party tonight to watch it, and I'm not sure I wanna go. thoughts?

I agree that Anakiin turned a little too easy. That was the only part that was un-believable in making one of the baddest people in the universe.

As far as that DVD, I think that is the Oscar screener or full movie from Lucasfilm. It get's released before the movie, and is often leaked. I saw LOTR before theater release.

Don't go. Now that you've publicly posted this on the internet, Lucasfilm lawyers will send someone to watch your car and follow you to this screening, and write down the license plates of everyone there.

Greed, Envy, Copyright Infiringement... the ways of the Dark Side, these are. Resist the temptation, you must.

Unless he got it from Lucasfilms and has permission to screen it.... its stealing. I would not go.

Its only $8 bucks fer crying out loud!

My father always taught me that if your going to be a theif, dont be a petty thief. If its not 7 figures why bother with it?

Yeah, I've already seen it on the big screen. It was awesome, and half the cool stuff in that film is sounds and things that can never be duplicated at home..............I was just wondering if it is illegal and could he possibly get in trouble.

Next will be a TV show for ABC.

ABC won the deal to get the show, by agreeing to upgrade ($$$$) the Star Wars ride at Disney MGM studios theme park. (getting rid of the box with a movie in it,.. as a spaceship. Such a poor sub for a motion control ride.)

I wasn't looking forward to the TV show (just another 1979 battle star galactica)

But now that I've seen the movie.... the gap between #3 and #4 is a great place to do a TV show. I'm looking forward to seeing Luke and Lea Grow up and Darth hone his Sith powers.

You serious????? That would be a GREAT basis for a TV show! Provided of course its a 10pm show and not a 8pm show. If they try to do it for a kiddie audience, they will destroy the entire premise and story.

But if they do it right.... Vader rampaging around the Galaxy enforcing the emporers will as scattered forces of the republic fight for survival.... GREAT show!

Where can I find more info?
