    For the past few months as I've been talking more and more about Ferrari's and the posssibility of future ownership... my 8 year old son has had only one thing to say. "Oh mom, Ferrari, Ferrari, Ferrari. Who care's about Ferrari!?"

    (These are words coming straight from his fathers mouth through his)

    Well, yesterday, we were out and about and the opportunity presented itself for us to go see some. Again on the way there, those dreaded words came from his lips.

    UNTIL ... we pulled up and he saw them. Three absolutely stunningly beautiful Ferrari's. The car wasn't even fully stopped yet and he almost hurt himself trying to rip off his seatbelt to exit the still moving vehicle. Thankfully the door was still locked... in which he was struggling to unlock it he was in such a hurry to leave the boring old Camry to check out the goodies waiting nearby. I unlocked the door for him and let him out.. and he walked straight toward the 355 (that's my boy!)

    He got to hear it start up, he got to watch it back up, he got to walk all around it and check it out, he got to touch it, and then he got to get IN! While she was still on! (with mom very close by mind you!) He leaned back in the seat with the same expression I have when I'm in one... and then he reached forward for the steering wheel. He gripped the sw just as he should have, and he became a Ferrari lover with an instanst case of Ferrari Perma-Smile! At that moment, I knew I'd never hear those words again!

    I wish I'd have had my camera... but I took a couple (not so great) pics with my camera phone, but I know that yesterday is a day he will never forget. All through dinner, Ferrari this and Ferrari that is all that came from his lips. He was so excited, he didn't even eat. He just wanted to talk. My mom thinks I've created a monster. I think I've created a Future Ferrari Owner :)

    We had a small Fchat gathering in Indy a few weeks ago. When they were all parked outside a restaurant it was amazing to see the number and variety of people who stopped to look at them. Of course there were lots of teenager and adult guys but also little guys and even moms and little girls came to look at them. It was really cute to hear the little girls asking their dads questions about the cars. This is one of the things I am really looking forward to for when I own one.

    edit: I tried to keep people out of my photos but these 2 slipped into one of them

    Pap, my computer screen looks horrible with Starbucks hot chocolate all over it. Please send a new 17" flat screen ASAP. :D

    The powers that be here at the FML will not be pleased at such a downgrade without any sort of financial benefit. Tell you what; get Pap to send me another Starbucks hot chocolate and I'll call it even. :D

    by the time u wait for it to start up, one can have a shower, have a coffee, and if ur lucky, it has already started up :D
