    hi every body i have a 0nother problem ,on my ferrari 348 1990 black.... when i start...the car ,i let the key on to start, there is nothing, and suddenly after 2, 3, 4, 5 seconds the starte,r do is job, not always, but some time.... i have to turn the switch on and go to the back and jump the positive on the small connection, just beside probably the selenoid wire, what you thinks is the problem????? thanks to all of you, p.s excuse my english im french its not my fault lol..

    Hello and welcome Denis. :)

    It sounds like the contacts in the starter motor are worn out and need replacing.

    It's not a big job to remove and replace them. :)

    I had the same problem here for along time. I found several things & fixed them one at a time. There were loose connections in the steering column at the connnectors for the ignition switch. On my car it appeared that a prior owner had made repairs that were not of the best quality so I soldered them together. Get a test light & turn the key to the crank position & start checking.Buy a Porsche,thats my plan,no more grief!
