    Long story but!

I'm trying to assemble a starter from a 1970 365. I recived it in a box and 4 ziplock bags. The brushes and the electrical contacts in the solinoid are brand new and the cover has been replated. I have about 90% of it figured out.

Could use an exploded view of a Marelli MT21T - 1.8/12D9 starter.

I just want to make sure that all the springs and insulated washers get in the right places and nothing is missing.

If anyone out there can help with a picture or steer me to someone who can I would realy appreciate it.

Don't have an exploded view, but here's a cross-section. Watch the two flat insulator plates in the solenoid on either side of the T-stud where the battery cable attaches. Sometimes when the stud nut is tightened, the T inside the solenoid case cracks these insulators. Result is a dead short of battery cable to ground.
