Thinking about driving to LV, staying a couple days in LV, and then flying out on vacation for 2-3 weeks.

Do any of the Strip hotels let you park for free while you're gone so long as you stay for at least a night? This is a very popular option around LAX, many hotels offer a free parking option for staying with them. We left our car there for nearly a month one time.

Unless you're staying at an MGM property, none of them charge for parking or valet (MGM properties are going to start charging about $10/day the first week of June). I don't know if there are time limits on how long you can park, but I don't think they even track who is in the decks.

Thanks Mark and congrats on little Joker!

That's kind of what I thought - i.e., that they don't even track who is in the decks (at the free lots). I'll double check with whatever non-MGM property we end up staying at. I knew about the new MGM policy - wow, that's a real kick in the nuts to start charging in the middle of summer (insult to injury kinda thing)!

While digging around, I found this very informative site with a complete rundown on the parking situation.
