hi to all those who don't know me, i'm Kevin, or NZUO4RE, and i'm from Edmonton. however my parents brought me to Toronto, so we're staying here for a week until the morning of the 12th. since arriving here last night, i can only say that i've seen one "good" car, a 360 Spider in Rossa Corsa on Royal York south (i think that's the name..)

anyhow, i'm staying at the Courtyard Merriot hotel in Downtown Toronto and all morning i haven't seen any good cars (we were walking around looking for a place to eat breakfast)

so i would like to ask the Torontonians where i can spot nice cars? the nicest car i've seen in Edmonton is a 355, so when i saw the 360 yesterday i was going crazy and really ticked off my dad lol. i'm dying to see all the nice cars people photograph, so could someone please tell me which areas i can find them?? or maybe someone lives nearby and could come over and let me drool over their car for a few minutes hahah =P

my other question is: Does Ferrari of Ontario (Steeles Ave West) allow photography? I have seen lots of pictures which people say they took from the dealership, but i would like to know for sure because i am aware that most higher-class dealerships do not allow pictures...yeah so anyone that's been there before, do they allow photography??

thanks to everyone, i hope you guys will have answers for me and i will be able to see some nice cars before i have to go back to boring old Edmonton.

    Kevin,

You should definitely take a trip to Yorkville (located in the Bay & Bloor area). You say you're here to the 12th, which is Sunday....take a trip down on Saturday (provided it's nice)....you should spot several nice cars. While you're down there, be sure to stop by Ferrari of Ontario (located on Avenue Road) and the Rolls dealership (again, on Avenue Road). I don't think the dealers would be too averse to your taking pictures, but it may be best to ask first. Others here will confirm this.
As an aside, if you want to see some really cool automotive memorabilia, be sure to stop by Collectors Studio on Yorkville Avenue (runs off of Avenue Road, 2nd street on the right - CS is on the left side of the street - nice street for walking). Some really nice stuff in there!

Hope this helps. Enjoy the stay in Toronto and most importantly, post lots of pics when you get the chance.

    Cheers,

    Andrew

The one on Avenue Road is just a little store with at most 6-7 cars.

The Lamborghini dealership is also on Front Street at Bathurst if you're interested.

hmm...it's more convenient than having to go all the way north to Steeles...does the one on Avenue Road sell new cars? and do they have a service bay?

i might be able to go to the Lambo showroom when we go do the Harbourfront Tours...

Both Ferrari dealerships are owned by the same person, the one in Yorkville is just to have a pressence there. Today you should see alot of cars out around Bloor St, Yonge St and just out and about. You may even see me today...

On Avenue Road, just down from Ferrari is the Rolls dealership. If you head North on Avenue, you'll get to Dupont Avenue. Make a left - a few clicks down there is Grand Touring Autos, a dealership that sells Aston Martin/Rolls/Bentley/Jag/Range Rover. Located in the same complex is Bentley of Toronto. A little further down (a few hundred feet) is Gentry Lane. Another good place...
