    Hey whats up guys. Im getting my cars fitted with MIRT devices, the stealth concealed units. Many have asked me about these before and I told you all I would let you know when I would be ordering them. Current price is around 350.00 per unit, I'll see what deal I can get for 10 of them.

    it looks like a fog light but shoots out an ir light pattern that changes traffic lights.

    I had one. They don't work in NYC. They do however work in various parts of Long Island.

    Not only can you be charged with a Felony for having one.. but its a waste of money because they only work on certain styles of traffic lights. Also.. You need some form of public service identification to buy one.

    Everyone who is going to take delivery of one will be filling out a disclaimer form for the company to keep on file, so dont think Im just selling some black boxes out of my trunk. I know we have alot of law enforcement, doctors, etc on here and maybe there looking to pick one up for a deal. The few of you who keep screaming illegal and felony and this and that obviously are the ones who shouldnt be in possesion of one.

    i dont mean to kill the party, but they are highly illegal, and lights that have cameras at them are CCD cameras, they pick up on infrared, it actually shows up on the recording. so if someone wanted to, tehy could catch on, and i looked up the penalties a while ago and i decided taht they were to much for me

    come on emil, i usually agree with your posts, but aren't you the one that put the disappearing license plate frame on your gallardo? what use did that have other than running traffic and toll booth cameras? is this really so much worse?

    Running through a tollbooth doesn't run the risk of delaying EMS services. MIRTs are so heavily restricted because multiple MIRT signals can create chaos as REAL emergency vehicles are trying to pull through an intersection.

    I did a lot of research on this. Spoke to a lot of folks that use these things every day in situations that are a matter of life and death. It's nothing I'd recommend messing with.
