    Ria,
That was painful to read....could you work on your spelling, punctuation and sentence structure? I assume you are an adult, reside in North America, and understand English....but you may wish to fill out your profile so we know a bit more about you as well.

    Regards,
    Dave

    Why?

This is a forum, communication is via written language. That original post doesn't qualify as any type of communication. It's not unreasonable to ask that people make at least a serious attempt at proper spelling and grammer.

By the way, proper names, such as Dave, are usually capitalized.

Why? I think "standards" of not only decorum, but basic efforts in the proper use of English would be equally important. In this case, no effort was made; in fact it was a pitiful example of writing. What was posted by Ria would be embarrassing if made by a 9 year old, let alone an adult.

I am assuming English is not Ria's primary languge. If I was forced to communicate to a forum in a secondary language I would do my best to be accurate but doubt I would sound much better than Ria mainly because I don't know another language. I hope luck and time you will improve.

Most importantly; He got his exhaust from Stebro in 7 days and it fit perfectly. Either they had it on the shelf for his exact model already or they have made a huge turn-around in the way they are doing business. Lets hope so. I would like to think I could order a well made, great sounding stainless exhaust for a third of what a TUBI costs.

The exhaust on my 308 can't be seen so I don't see any reason to by a polished piece. There are no measured HP gains from a TUBI and probably not from a Stebro over the ANSA I already have. It would be nice to have a more distinctive sound though.

RIA, fill out your profile a little and you will be taken a little more seriously.

Ah Spasso, you have the diplomacy of a saint. Your explanation was much better than mine; but yes, if Ria filled out his profile, it might better explain his English skills, and then I would have no reason to be such a jerk. Even if a resident of North America, he could be a recent immigrant or perhaps if Canadian, French is his primary language.

    Regards,
    Dave

I do like the fact that you can have it sound about the same loudness of the Tubi by leaving the tip inserts/baffles in place, or you can remove them and have it sound like a true racecar, almost painfully loud! With the inserts in, side by side comparison with another USA 308QV I think the Stebro is a little deeper or throatier. I like it.

    Agree with Mike...

    (1) Stebro w/o inserts is painfully loud (although it REALLY sounds good @ 80+MPH or so I'm told ;-)

    (2) Stebro w/ inserts takes the edge off; kind of midway between stock and (1).

    (3) Tone is deeper/throatier than stock exhaust.

    (4) On my 328, mounting was a bit of a pain as the unit doesn't fit exactly right (IMHO) from an up/down and square perspective (i.e., the tips actually rest on the rear grill section and REALLY had to work at it to get close to squarely aligned).

    (5) Anyone have any experience with the Romulus exhaust by Remus?

I also bought a Stebro for my 1980 308 gtsi .Very nice system for the money.and it does sound very nice! on the other hand I will never do business with Dan again. I do not Know how they are still in business with a salesman like him . very unprofessional person .I encourage All Ferrari Owners not to do business with Dan! this man cannot give you a straight answer. And many others have been taken for a ride with him. Just look back on past forums. He still owes me $350.00 for test pipes he did not delivered. I now have my credit card company investigating this matter so i can get my money refunded.I even asked Dan to credit my card. He takes no notice of my calls or e-mails about this matter. In my mine He stealing from me.So beware if you deal with Stebro
