1975 308 GT4 I have a vibration in the left front wheel. I thought it was just a tie rod. My mechanic tells me the steering rack needs to be rebuilt and he has a place that will do it for $565. He says it will take 30 days and the price is a good deal. Any advice? anyone have this done quicker or cheaper?
too much, way too long. Ebay kit from John Ruth ($135 ). take the kit to your mechanic. the rack rebuild is the easy part, the RE and RE is what takes the time. just a couple of hours on the rack once it's out. brett
