    I ordered these Saab parts. I found that the threaded part of the shaft needed to be extended using a M13x1.5 die. If you look at the centre of the new (bottom) unit, next to the silver locking nut, you'll see that the threaded part is shorter.
    We made this thread longer by about 1inch in order to allow for sufficient adjustability.

    Yup, I see that now, easy enough. When I looked up the 93 194 335 it only shows the inner tie rod. Do you happen to know the part number for the outer tie rod?

    Thanks but the 550 has the longer style design. This looks like the one on the car now. Curious if Saab has one like this:
