I recently installed the OG racing (site sponsor) 2" steering wheel spacer. Took me about 15 minutes and was as easy as anything I have done, although the little wrench that comes with the kit is about useless... :)At 6'3" 240#, I'm not a small guy, and even with the steering wheel in the uppermost position, I had to twist my feet funny getting in and out of the car, and sometimes I still got a little hung up under the wheel. It also felt like the reach to the wheel was a little far, with the seat all the way back (94 348 Spider). I saw other spacers, but wanted to go with the 2" as the others seemed too thin and to me wouldn't do much. I was skeptical about the 2", but wanted to try it. Let me tell you, it's a night and day difference for me. I've only driven the car a few miles due to other issues, but wow, it changed the car. I can now get in and out without hitting my legs, and I actually don't have the steering wheel quite all the way at the top now. It also used to feel like I was about to hit my knuckles at the top of the wheel, and that feeling is gone now too. Because the wheel is closer now, I don't feel like I'm reaching to drive it, and I get a bit more leverage to turn the wheel when sitting still or at low speeds. The wheel now feels like it should be where it is, and is a lot more natural feeling. I highly recommend it if you have been considering it, but putting it off to do later, or if you were like me, didn't want to spend roughly $80 for something that might not seem like it would make a difference. Well it does... :) Like Nike says, "Just do it"

Cliffs Notes - if you are a big guy, spring for the 2" spacer, you'll love it.

I'm 6'3" too and have a spacer, I think it is 1.5". Can't imagine being without it. Also spring the the 360 Challenge wheel. It has a flat bottom and helps knee clearance. PLus it looks and feels great. Ricambi sells them
