I'm ready to purchase a 458. I found that car doesn't have the led steering wheel, but I really like it, is it possible to change a led steering wheel later? Thank you.

My buddy bought a 13 spider and asked the dealer the same question. I believe it was cost prohibitive but you could always ask the service manager at your local Ferrari dealer just to be sure. It is great and in my opinion, one of the only "must have" options for the 458.

I asked dealer the same, and it was about $10-$15k if I recall. IMO, best option on the 458. I waited and found a car with it.

contact the sponsered deal rambi. I believe I saw the LED steering wheel on their website ($5k). I believe you can wire it.

I went through the same issue, (ended up buying one with the LED wheel).

I was quoted $7k to make the switch. Someone had a wheel for sale on here a month or two ago. (I think). After the switch, I was told the dealer needs to re-program the ECU to enable the shift lights.

It is doable, but generally easier to find a car with it in the first place.

Love the led so much i paid extra to wrap the steering wheel in leather to go with my CF free interior.
