There's a new Miami Ponzi king under arrest...Nevin Shapiro. Allegedly scammed $900 million by way of a grocery scam, claiming to make money by buying cheap groceries in one part of the country, and reselling them at a higher mark-up. That may have been the bait for investors. News said he has (soon had) yachts and luxury cars (don't they all?). KevFla

Apparently people never learn. The very same scam was run here in south Florida back in the late 80s and early 90s. They even had very positive articles written about them in the business press.
*(sigh)*...... I am so sick of working to get ahead, when apparently everyone else just organizes a good ponzi scheme...... Ok, 'investors', who's going to send me some money to start me off??? (BTW, for anyone who's reeeeeely stupid, this is a joke....)
