Anyone ever had any electrical problems causing battery to drain as a result of a problem with the CD/radio in their 360? Apparently thats the reason for my 2004 360's recent demise. It going to take 10 days+ to get radio looked at so i'm recieving car back today (after 9 days) from Greypaul Edinburgh 'sans' radio - with the hole taped up - classy. Its a Becker unit, anyone experience similar??. I really hope this isn't the start of a long and exhaustive process where they just start with the radio and move on untill they find what the real cause of the power drain is. I'v done 2,100 miles in 11 months, well above minimum required for warranty to apply. (yes their is a minimum mileage believe it or not!). Can anyone reassure me??

Do you know what the minimum requirement is? This is the first I have heard of this. I nearly bought a car from MSL with only 700 miles on the clock after 13 months.

2000 miles. Originally the mechanic said i'd only done 800 miles so Ferrari warranty wouldn't pay for a replacement battery (not that that turned out to be the problem). I told him i'd done 1,900 and he said oh, OK, then you'll have done 2000 by the time the full year is up ( i bought end july 2004) and so the warranty would cover it. Id have kicked up a fuss if he hadnt so dont know if it was just the garage (Franchised!) pulling a fast one or a genuine warranty requirement.

Perhaps it is the battery warranty and not the Fcar warranty.

I had the same issue regarding minimum mileage of 2000/yr when the battery failed in my 360!
I was told by my main dealer that because the batteries are inside the passenger cell, in the footwell, they are only allowed to use gel batteries, which WILL go flat in about 2 weeks if they aren't used! And sure enough, mine does, and I've had it replaced once already! I think that's why the conditioner and link is a factory option.
