Stereo install review - Scuderia Audio

I ordered a custom sub woofer box, an amp and speakers from Mike at Scuderia Audio, one of our sponsors. I cannot believe how good everything looks and sounds.

I ordered everything from Mike including Arc Audio amp and Black series mids and tweeters. The sub box fits perfectly as you can see and is fitted with a JL sub. Did I say it sounds great? I wish I had done this a long time ago. Anyway everything arrived from CA on time as usual. The mids were already mounted in custom brackets that Mike had fabricated. The tweeters were mounted in new triangle pieces as well. I can easily undo this custom install if desired. It was a straight forward according to the stereo guy. He has his own shop in west palm beach.

I went with a Blaupunkt San Francisco head unit. I wanted something sleek and easy to use. I hate the Becker head unit.

Everything looks great. The only thing I would have done differently is to get a amp cradle for the amp. I had mine mounted in the trunk and it would have been simpler and less hassle for the installer to use the cradle. I will probably get the cradle soon. That way the entire install looks factory. The crossovers are mounted in the trunk now. Again I wish I had gotten the cradle to begin with.

The sound is just incredible. Good bass from the subs and mids. The highs are perfect. I dont even have it customized to my own specs yet and its fantastic. You just cannot believe the difference between this and the stock system. The former system is like listening to a $2 radio. Its that bad. Embarrassing actually. I didn't have a hi-fi system but i've heard it sucks also.

My wife is even enjoying it. She's commented on it a few times.

I highly recommend anyone that wants anything done regarding car stereo to consult Mike. Workmanship is top notch. You will not be disappointed. Hes a great guy and is always available to give you advice and progress reports.
