Sharing my latest upgrade. I wanted something with great sound, and had a digital input for a Bluetooth adapter, but was period correct. I went with a McIntosh MX5000 and found an adapter with a digital coax out. Paired that with an amp cradle and sub from Scuderia Audio (thanks Mike) and Audison mids and tweeters. And I snuck a McIntosh power meter in the glove box.

That does look good and very in keeping. Head unit wise I just went for the most up to date version and now I just say "Alexa play........"

Definitely considered that. I put a touchscreen with CarPlay in my 911 and I really liked the modern convenience. I will see how this one goes!

Can you share the amp you used and any DSP hardware in the middle? I have Mike's sub, focal components and his amp solution (2 Mosconi 200W amps), but the sub still seems underpowered. Considering swapping to a different amp solution.

Amp is the JL Audio 500W from Mike that goes with the cradle. Plenty of power for me. No DSP as of yet but considering that.

Will look at posting a video sometime soon

I am actually working on a new product for the 360/430 line. I'm working on an upgrade kit that consists of a JL Audio 8W3 subwoofer and a CNC machined spacer that will allow it to fit inside any of my existing 360 and 430 enclosures. You get more bass, deeper bass, more sound pressure and it will not bottom out at extremely high volumes.

Regarding the amplifier, the JL Audio MX600/3 and one of my big scary adapters would definitely give you enough bass. This setup will fit inside the stock cradle yet give you an astounding 400 Watts to the sub. These two things would give you some monstrous sound pressure.
