I was just wondering what you guys are using. Are you just using the stock system? I really want to get some sort of Nav but am not sure what to get. I have a Pioneer z1 in my evo and I love it. I know theres only room for a single DIN so wondering what the options were.

also, i was concerned that if i got a flip out unit it would cover the gas gauges clock, etc. Is there even enough clearance to have a flip unit installed?

Clearance should not be a problem but the monitor when flip up will block those gauges & clock. That is why my Alpine unit and nav are sitting in the garage and not installed. As for nav I just use one of those small portable unit with a suction mount on the windshield it does just as good of a job as the Alpine Nav. Oh, and for music...? who needs that when you have a 355 with Capristo going at full song :D

What's with the yellow gauges? Is the tach and spedo the same thing?

the portable would be great but i hate wires. I want a really clean install.....hmmm, so difficult.

Another option is to get the unti from a 430 or such and install that. What do you guys think?
