    Makes sense.
Do you have to do the 30k service again when the mileage gets on the car?

From my understanding, the 30k-service, which is really the timing-belt service....must be performed every 5 years or 30,000 miles.

If you drive it 15k-miles per year, then every 2 years.

If you don't drive it at all, every 5 years

OR anytime you let a woman drive your car :)

    ....like Chicken Piccate'

Apparently she went to school and told her whole class that her Dadda just bought a new red car, called a Ferrari and it goes real fast. I'm honestly astonished that she'd remember the name and tell her whole class. Now I'm getting calls from her school-mates fathers congratulating me. Sounds like a drive-by pick-up is in order tomorrow....ya think the security guard will cut me some slack if I do a massive burn-out in the parking lot? :)

So I asked Elana why she licked it.....she said "it looked yummy!!!"

From the mouths of kids!!! but she has a point!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Steve - glad you found the right car after your prior disappointment. You're lucky - your car was close to home. A lot of us had to wait for weeks for delivery after cutting the check!!

Hope to see you at CC or around up here in LA sometime.

    Cheers
    Kevin

I suppose that bank-thing wasn't explained just right. It was just amazing how everything just lined-up with this car. My bank being just next door was just too freaky. Getting out of the speeding-ticket during our test drive was amazing luck....it was just destiny!

Check it out: even as I bought the car the phones were ringing with inquiries on it. The saleman actually told a customer who came in earlier that the car was sold. A fellow who called the day ahead of time (from back east) reviewed the pics and called while I was in the office to buy the car.

Somehow I was in the right place at the right time with the right attitude & a cool salesman. There are forces at work here that span beyond my ability to comprehend. :)

    Pics to come....
