Hi Guys, I appreciate this is not really a technical question, but I’m stumped. Can anyone tell me anything about the Blue with thin white outline ‘B’ pillar sticker seen on 1967 330 P4s? I’ve searched but cannot find any info. The flash / arrow looks a bit like a paper aeroplane image fixed high on the ‘basket handle.’’ I guess it’s a sponsor logo. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Steve. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Its the logo of BOAC the British airline of the era - at a guess its a relic of competing in the BOAC 500 at Brands Hatch as part of the World Sportscar Championship - surely like me you're old enough to remember them !!
Hi Grey Boxer, Thank you, that makes sense. I did a reverse AI scan and the nearest match was from an art site saying British Airways, although the same shape but in red with a white border. Thanks again for taking the time to explain, Steve.
