Can anyone help me with how to clean my sticky buttons on my Ferrari 2013 California.
    Thanks

Cleaning not possible IMO. In my 2008 F430, removed some commonly used ones and stripped the coating to leave the bare plastic.

Bc if you try to clean, any cloth will stick to it and leave lint. You can try T-tips lightly wetted in isopropyl alcohol (tightly wind them first by twisting between your fingers) and just do a quick pass. The IP alcohol will evaporate. While the wetted Q-tip would have picked up most of the gunk. I also tried sticky tape to remove dirt and gunk with limited success.

...still can't believe Ferrari can't solve this problem. My 20. Yr old Jeep has perfect, non-sticky buttons.

Use 90% isopropyl alcohol, a terrycloth towel and fingernails. It's messy, but it will remove the sticky plastic. Also will remove any white labels and certain sticky items (door handles, ashtray cover) will return to bare metal. Had to do this to my previous 355 and 360.

Exactly what I did. I removed that annoying , sticky plastic with the alcohol.

..though, not trying to be pedantic, but ( unless I am misunderstanding) the OP wants to Clean buttons that are sticky...not Remove the coating.

A light pass with a gently moistened IP Alcohol swab should do it. Anymore, and to your point, the entire coating, graphics, white paint, etc get removed.

For the "Ashtray," I just replaced the cover with a new one for just under $100.

I don't think that they will do this on a car that is that old. Have you tried that and found success?

I have an 09 Maserati and they are going to pay partial for it, I'm going thru the process now. Years ago they were not acknowledging it. Maserati recently said they determined that it was an issue 2 years ago and have assisted customers. My Maserati rep told me porsche ferrari were doing the same. Hope this helps worse they can say I no. I got a quote to get everything redone for 2900 without air vents I'm told those are a pain to get ou . Hope this helps

my Limited model did. Then again, it makes no sense for Ferrari to apply a crappy coating that caused endless grief if they can't get the polymer formula correct. I would be perfectly happy with hard-shell plastic buttons.

I've experienced a lot of the crappy Ferrari engineering from their crappy 456 headlight motors and suspensions to the fiberglass hood getting scraped by the wipers, F430 headers, F430 ball joints, F1 Transmissions, DCT transmission and the little crap like their sticky plastics.

But hey, I still love the cars....all the bad disappears once I get behind the wheel!

...just wish they could at least get rid of the minor annoyances. The technology is easily there and available.

I also have a 2013 California and had the buttons fixed once already when it was less than 3 years old. Now the sticky buttons are back and I am gutted. I have taken such good care of the car but there is nothing you can do to stop it. The main dealer told me they used to clean up the buttons with WD40 a microfibre cloth and hours and hours of patience, but Ferrari told them not to do it anymore. I am about to try that myself now.

Lots of threads and advice on what to use in the 360;430 sub forum. I’ve had success with the drug stroke rubbing alcohol, paper towels and cotton tipped swabs. I haven’t removed any of the labeling yet, using the above items.

Just finished using q top and alcohol. All look new. Just don’t be greedy. Let the alcohol saturate the film and carefully rub with q tip. I did all the buttons over 3 days, once a day and they are all good.
