Hey all, I have recently noticed that the door handles and some of the interior "trim" on my 348 has become sticky and leaves a black residue on your hands when you touch it. Has anyone had this problem and how much are we talking to fix or replace this.

    thanks

We just finished another three sets of carbon handles for the 348. Get them while they are hot! It certainly will solve your stickyness problem! You can order them through the MAcarbon website.

Easy to remove. Couple of screws. I had mine sand blasted and powder coated at my local shop for $79. Looks stock if you don't bake them too long. Much more durable finish and no sticky. I don't have pics at work, but I think I posted pics on anther thread.

Yeah that was a fun discussion. You might want to check out a thread over in the 996 section of 6speed where the young man decided to do his own carbon interior. He learned the hard way that its not as easy as some think.

Oh. OK. Thanks. I guess if you got EVERY piece it could come close to a major service!
