As with many other 355's my plastic is all sticky, i've been scraping the gummy stuff off with my fingernails for hours and the plastic is ok underneath but it takes SO long this way, there must be a better way? does anyone of any ideas how to quickly remove the sticky stuff and recondition my interior plastic?

    thanks

Thanks I will try some of your suggestions, so far i have tried, on the steering console and door handles sanding cleaning with gas and painting, came out very well. part of the center consoles and switches i have tried boiling in water scraping and cleaning with meguiar's rich leather foam witch has worked quite well. but still looking for something better, thanks for the ideas, i'll take pics if anyones interested

    This is THE answer :)

Second step is up to you, personally I didn't think the plastic underneath looked so great. I repainted with a spray on plasti-coat. Looks absolutely perfect!
