    Last year I fixed the window switch on the passenger side and those plastic tabs on top of the dash. I didn't use plastidip primer, only the black.
    The switch held up well. The plastic tabs didn't.

    Pull them off again, and the drivers window switches. Greased lightning and a toothbrush & the black goo came right off. The plastidip didn't & it didn't peel too well either.

    THIS TIME I used plasti-dip primer and I'll shoot 'em with black. I'm hoping for better results.

    After I removed sticky goo on my plastic parts, I just wet sand it and then leave it unpainted. It actually looks very nice and saves the trouble of getting sticky again in the future.

    I used the Plasti Dip Primer followed by Plasti dip. Years later, my door handles (and everything else) are still rubber coated perfection. I really like having the original feel (without the original stickyness).

    That said, it was a huge huge job to completely strip everything, including every louver on every vent. I don't ever want to do that job again.
