    Hi all;
    I posted this on the Technical, but nobody replied.
    My handbrake has got incredibly sticky, it is so bad I had to put a latex glove on it.
    as it is blue, it clashes badly with the rest of the interior. so I need to remove the handle and somehow remove the sticky layer.
    Now, how do I remove the handle? I looked but there are no screws or any other visible fasteners?
    Thank you for your help!

    Since we are on handbrakes, what is with the 550 and other seat between door brakes? I can't use it with the door closed and it knocks off the plastic seat adjustor covers when I do. Is it just me ( as my wife says, it all about me, but....)?

    this is what i did and to get a temp fix while waiting on the CF handle i used black electric tape to wrap in up one continuous wrap and that worked great .. When i got the CF handle it was a bear to get the old handle off but with effort it was done and looks just like this
