New to the forum, and new to Ferrari. Just picked up a 2010 599 GTB and I have the sticky trim issue on luggage area strips in back of the seats. I have looked all over this forum and the internet and can't seem to find any information on how to take off those strips for refinishing. Having just picked up the car and not that familiar with Ferrari, I don't want to just tear into it without some insight. I just pulled out the stereo to install a bluetooth adapter from Discount Car Stereo (works great, highly recommend) so that made me brave enough to move on to tackling the interior trim pieces.
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Hi, I’ve just been doing the same sticky issue on my car. Here is a photo of the rear shelf removed. I assumed the strips could be removed from the back but not so, the rubber strips are sewn into the leather making them impossible to remove without unsewing the whole leather cover. I gave up at this juncture and had them repaired in situ. I’m still trying to figure out how to remove the hvac without removing the center console.

    Thanks for the picture.
Did you repair them yourself or send them out? Also, how hard is it to remove the rear shelf?

Thank you all. I was able to clean my strips with alcohol and the sticky is gone. That will be step 1, and see if I am satisfied. I think at some point I am going to have some additional pieces that need attention, and will send them out for refurbishment then
