My oil pressure gauge is sticking on my F355. If I tap it it seems to work but then it'll get stuck at 3/4s.

It sticks at 0 on start up.

    Is it a big/expensive problem?

Sounds like it is just the Gauge itself - which is a good thing and not expensive. If you are so inclined - take off the counsel and make sure the connector is on tight and that nothing is binding it - see if that frees it up.

It could be the sender - the actuall Oil Temp Monitor/relay - but usually this would not get any movement - or be erratic - this would be more involved.

You want to get this fixed - it is important to make sure you monitor the oil temp...

Thanks for that Richard, it was the Oil Pressure gauge not the temp gauge though.

I'll have a word with my dealer
