I had a 348 which was OK until one day I cleaned all the surfaces with armoral. Within a week it had dissolved all the rubber coating and it was coming off on your hands like black tar. I contacted Armarol who sent me a letter advising that it could have affected my rubber finish. I asked them if it would be OK to publish their letter in the Australia Ferrari club magazine but they refused to reply to my letter. I rang Armoral but the writer of the letter would not return my calls. KEEP AWAY FROM ARMORAL with your Ferrari's interior. I now have a 355 and it was sticky when I bought it. I found that the rubberised finished can be removed of all the surfaces with thinners. I also found the best thing to repaint these pieces with is a black satin vinyl paint you can get from the local auto shop. Its really easy to use and hard to get a run. Cheers

I advise that everyone keep away from Armor-All, period.

With ALL cars. It smells like vomit, and it ruined one of my Saab's interiors many years ago, as well.

Useful information and great advice. Thanks. :)
