I tried the disconnect battery to reset AF ECU, let run for 15 min. No luck! Then I turned out the AF screws one complete turn, reset AF ecu, ran for 15 min. Now worse than before. When started from overnight it stalls, sputters and races from 1k to 2k rpm's..perfect when warm..Any more thoughts? No trouble lights or codes

If you been messin with the MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensors) gettem back at 383 ohms. BOTH need to be the same. Pull cable off 2 outside pins on the MAF I believe.
If the O2 sensors are bad it may code also...did you take the code from the computer before you reset battery & deleted codes?
For what its worth on the O2 sensors its not uncommon for them both to be bad at same time...mine were & I have read others that were also.
I would pull computer codes before you toss money at it, see if it codes fault but get sensors back to 383 ohms..
    Good Luck,
    Chris

The only thing I did was what was suggested by a member

    see below:

First, do the basics. Disconnect the battery for 15 seconds when the car is cold. Then start the car while making sure that the throttle pedal isn't touched until the fans come on to cool off a hot engine.

That will reset the A/F ecu's which solves many, many problems.

If that doesn't work, then start here with the air bypass screws: http://webpages.charter.net/aircover...tallsOverheats

Plus, I have no engine lights on. Didn't run codes.I put the screw setting back to where it was before. Not sure I can do what you suggest without some guidance. Any place online I could look for step by step? Thanks

That will show MAF to get back to normal

Do a search for 348 computer codes & read read read.
U will find the code to read fault & translate it :)
You probably will have to run car for it to restore code if trouble occurs again. Do the MAF 383 ohms first
Radio shack has meters cheap if u need one. (under $20)
Also clean all terminations & apply stabilant could be a bad connector also..again do a search for "stabilant"
    Good Luck,
    Chris
